動詞admit的用法
1、表示“承認”，注意以下用法：
(1) 表示“承認做了某事”，其后通常接動名詞不接不定式。如：
She admitted having seen us. 她承認看到過我們。
I admit breaking the window. 我承認打破了窗子。
表示“承認”時，有時用于 admit to, 此時的 admit為不及物動詞，但該結(jié)構(gòu)中的介詞 to �？墒÷裕÷越樵~后 admit 即為及物動詞。如：
He would never admit to being wrong. 他從不認錯。
He admitted (to) stealing. 他供認了偷盜。
(2) 有時其后接帶不定式的.復(fù)合賓語，但其中的不定式通常應(yīng)是 to be。如：
She admitted him to be right. 她承認他是對的。
You must admit the task to be difficult. 你們得承認任務(wù)是艱巨的。
(3) 有時可后接從句。如：
I admit (that) I was wrong(=I admit my mistake). 我承認我錯了。
2、表示“允許進入”、“使能進入”，可指進入某一具體場所也可指進入某一組織機構(gòu)等。如：
This ticket admits one person only. 此券只準(zhǔn)一人入場。
There were no windows to admit air. 沒有窗子可使空氣流入。
The school admits 200 students every year. 這所學(xué)校每年招收200名學(xué)生。
試比較以下兩句(注意介詞不同)。如：
She was admitted to [into] the Party. 她被吸收入黨。
She was admitted as a Party member. 她被接納為黨員。
表示“允許進入”等，也含有動態(tài)意味，所以一般不與 enter, go in 之類的詞連用。如：
通常不說：He opened the door and admitted me to enter into the house. (可將 to enter 去掉)
拓展：admit的句型
1. admit doing sth 承認做某事。如：
I admit breaking the window. 我承認打破了窗玻璃。
He admitted having stolen the money. 他承認偷了這筆錢。
2. admit of 容許有，有……的余地，有……的可能。如：
The matter admits of no delay. 此事刻不容緩。
The word admits of no other meaning in the case. 該詞在此例中不可能有其它的意義。
3. admit to 承認。如：
He admitted to the murder. 他供認了謀殺罪。
He admitted to having taken the money. 他承認拿了那筆錢。
注：由于 admit 表示“承認”可用作及物動詞或不及物動詞，所以上面各例中的介詞 to 有時也可省略(省略 to 后 admit 為及物動詞)。
4. admit…to (into) 允許進入，使能進入。如：
They admitted him to [into] their organization. 他們接受他參加了他們的組織。
How many students have been admitted into the school this year? 今年這所學(xué)校有多少學(xué)生入學(xué)?
試比較(注意介詞不同)：
He was admitted to (into) the Party. 他被吸收入黨。
He was admitted as a Party member. 他被接納為黨員。
