　　a: let's have a break, ok? i'm too tired to go on.

　　b: ok! we have talked about the business since 9 o'clock. i think we're all sort of tired. let's have a break.

　　a: well, what's your first impression of the city? you come here for the first time.

　　b: i like it. it's very beautiful. and i've heard a lot of that "up above there is heaven; down below there're suzhou and hangzhou."

　　c: we've been eager to visit the ancient city.

　　a: wish you have a good time!

　　b: thanks.

　　a: now, let's go out and have some drinks.

　　c: ok! it's on me.

　　重點(diǎn)講解：

　　“too tired to”意思是“太累了以至于不能...... ”"too ... to..." 是一個固定短語，它的意思是“太......而不能......”，中間用形容詞，如：i'm too busy to watch tv. 我太忙了而不能看電視。

　　“it's on me.”的意思是“我請客”，口語中經(jīng)常用到。同義說法還有“this is my treat.”

　　a: 我們休息一下吧，好嗎?我太累了，無法再繼續(xù)下去了。

　　b: 好的。我們從九點(diǎn)就開始談這筆生意了。我認(rèn)為我們都有點(diǎn)累了。我們休息一會兒吧。

　　a: 你們對這座城市的第一印象如何?你們是第一次來這里。

　　b: 我喜歡這。這里非常美麗。我早就聽說“上有天堂，下有蘇杭。”

　　c: 我們一直期望參觀這座古城。

　　a: 希望你們玩得開心!

　　b: 謝謝。
