職場(chǎng)英語(yǔ)：辦公室著裝
辦公室的白領(lǐng)們相信都有過(guò)這樣的行為吧，坐在工位的時(shí)候大家都穿平底鞋或拖鞋，而一旦要離開(kāi)工位，就登上高跟鞋。辦公室的著裝的確讓人感覺(jué)很累，但為了公司形象和禮儀又必需要整齊大方，現(xiàn)在我們就用職場(chǎng)英語(yǔ)說(shuō)說(shuō)辦公室著裝。
Stiletto heels高跟鞋could be banned from the workplace because of health and safety reasons, according to the Trade Union bosses.
英國(guó)工會(huì)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)們認(rèn)為，基于健康和安全方面的原因，工作場(chǎng)所應(yīng)該禁穿細(xì)高跟鞋。

Nadine Dorries, the Tory MP, however criticised the motion and said the extra height heels give women can help them when in the workplace.

"I’m 5ft 3in and need every inch of my Christian Louboutin heels to look my male colleagues in the eye," she said. "If high heels were banned in Westminster, no one would be able to find me."

Michelle Dewberry, a former winner of The Apprentice, said the motion was patronising.

"This is absolutely ridiculous and I think these union officials should be spending their time dealing with more important issues," she said.

"I’m at work in five-inch heels and perfectly able to do my job. Heels are sexy, they boost your confidence and they are empowering to women."

的確，穿不穿高跟鞋完全可以看個(gè)人選擇，相信每個(gè)公司的職場(chǎng)著裝要求是整潔大方，并沒(méi)有要求穿高跟鞋之說(shuō)吧，健康第一。
